The 1st Annual Autism, Behavior, and Complex Medical Needs (ABC) SOUTH Conference, “A Trauma-Informed, Interprofessional Approach to Caring for Children with Special Needs” is jointly provided by the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (ICAAP) and the Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine, and co-sponsored by the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians (IAFP), The Autism Program (TAP) of Illinois, and Promoting Resiliency of Trauma-Exposed Communities Together (PROTECT).

The ABC Conference focuses on evidence-based and concrete strategies to address the struggles early childhood providers encounter related to Autism, Behavioral Challenges and Complex Medical Needs. Join pediatricians, family physicians, allied health professionals and community service providers, including home visitors, child care providers, and Early Intervention professionals, for a day of excellent educational content and networking.

Three educational tracks (A, B and C) will run concurrently throughout the day in breakout sessions, in addition to three keynote presentations.
