What Every Medical Assistant Should Know About Pediatric Vaccines and Oral Health

On Friday, June 22, 2012, ICAAP will offer a FREE educational seminar for medical assistants and other office personnel on the immunization and oral health related issues these practice staff encounter on a daily basis.

Medical assistants who work with infants, children and adolescents should attend this important seminar on pediatric immunizations and oral health and join colleagues from throughout the state for a day of training activities designed especially for them.

The seminar will be held from 10am to 3:30pm at Advocate Christ Medical Center – Conference Center in Oak Lawn. This program will review the current immunization schedule and immunization updates in 2012, measles and pertussis cases investigations, I-CARE, reducing vaccine administration, storage, and handling errors, and the importance of oral health for early child visits.

Time:     Registration - 9:30am; Seminar - 10:00am – 3:30pm

Parking:  Free parking - see map for available parking lots.  Valet parking also available outside of the Conference Center entrance.
