Annual Autism, Behavior, and Complex Medical Needs (ABC) Conference, “Interprofessional Approach to Caring for Children with Special Needs” is sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (ICAAP) and the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine (UIC). The ABC Conference focuses on evidence-based and concrete strategies to address the struggles early childhood providers encounter related to Autism, Behavioral Challenges and Complex Medical Needs.
This year the focus of the conference has been expanded to include topics relevant to a wide range of interprofessionals. Join pediatricians, family physicians, other healthcare professionals and community service providers, including home visitors, child care providers, and Early Intervention professionals, for a day of excellent educational content and networking.
Three educational tracks (A, B and C) will run concurrently throughout the day in breakout sessions, in addition to three keynote presentations.
